LIVERYMAN AND FREEMAN OF THE CITY OF LONDON

Huw Edwards-Jones began his cabinet-making career as an apprentice antique restorer/cabinet maker in 1976. After qualifying, he was employed by a number of top restoration firms. Then in 1981 Huw established his own cabinet-making business and in 1989 he completed a design degree.

He has been commissioned to work for customers such as HRH Prince Edward and Sophie Rhys-Jones and his work has also appeared on several TV programmes including John Bly's 'Heirlooms' in which John described Huw as a modern day Chippendale.

To create the finest wood furniture takes skill and craftsmanship but it also takes a great deal of passion – the latter is not something that can be taught.”
